I thought I'd share these lovely images from the Christmas 1946 issue of Woman magazine. The magazine was rather too big for the scanner, hence the pasting together of images which I could have done perfectly had I spent hours on it but I was just too excited to share them!

Our honeymoon was lovely, albeit hectic and not always comfortable. I was ill for much of the week which meant we didn't get to see as much as we'd have liked but it was lovely nonetheless. It did also mean I spent much of the week with no make-up and with my hair in a bun but I didn't really care that much. Once, however, we got dressed up and went for a nice meal out which was lovely.
